02.01.1 Quality of Surface Waters

The results of 90 of the approx. 170 existing measuring points were evaluated for the relevant summer half-year (1 May to 31 October). The means for phosphate, ammonium and the oxygen-saturation index are presented here, as are the worst values for minimum oxygen levels and the titre for Escherichia coli that occurred during the summer half-year. 02.01.1 Quality of Surface Waters

02.01.2 Chlorophyll-a in Surface Waters

The results of 57 of the approx. 170 existing measuring points were evaluated for the relevant summer half-year (1 May to 31 October). The maximum and minimum levels that occurred during these six months are presented here, as are the mean contents of chlorophyll-a for different periods of time, the visibility depth and lindane concentrations in the sediment. 02.01.2 Chlorophyll-a in Surface Waters

02.01.3 Pesticides and PCB in Sediments and in Eels 1989-1992

The results of 461 sediment samples (1989 - 1991) and 578 eel samples (1989 - 1992) were evaluated. The presence of dichloro-diphenyl-trichloroethane (DDT), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and lindane in sediments and eels is illustrated here. 02.01.3 Pesticides and PCB in Sediments and in Eels 1989-1992

02.01.4 Heavy Metals in Sediments

The results of a total of 85 sediment samples were evaluated. The individual values of the measurement results for copper, zinc, cadmium, lead, nickel and chromium were averaged and are displayed for the relevant water section. 02.01.4 Heavy Metals in Sediments
