Who remembers the Salomon family, janitors of the Synagoge Thielschufer?

I grew up as a foster child of the Salomon family. He was the janitor (Hausmeister) of the synagogue at Thielschufer (Kottbusser Ufer, today Fraenkelufer) in Kreuzberg. We lived on the grounds of the synagogue. Does anyone remember the Salomons, James (Hans) and Charlotte? I’m in close contact with their three children who live in the USA today. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.
