    What do you need to bring with you?

    • Documents concerning insurances (household insurance, reliability insurance, life insurance, funeral expenses insurance etc.)
    • Declaration of assets (bank statements of the last 3 months, car, bonds, property, cash etc.)
    • Application forms can also be found online on berlin.de or in any public office

    Features:

    For migrants, the application is processed according to the residence permit by the principals of date of birth or residency.
    Further information can be requested at the office for social services. Translation into Arabic is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 09:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

  • Child maintenance advance
    Your child is entitled to if
    • He/she is not older than 18 years
    • He/she is living with one of the parents, who is single, widowed or divorced or Living permanently separated
    • And not receiving or not regularly receiving maintenance allowance.
      This is also valid for children from abroad if the child or the single parent is having a valid residence permit.
