Sound - Audio pieces

Banner Die Ausstellung im Wald

What do a birch, a pine, and an oak chat about at Grunewald Forest? Listen to what different generations of trees have to say and learn more about natural processes of growth and decay in the forest’s ecosystem.

PLEASE NOTE:
In order to protect the sound system from cold and wet weather conditions, we allow it to go into hibernation each year. You can still enjoy the trees’ conversation by downloading the sound files free of charge here or at info station 7.

Audiodescription of nature sites along the exhibition path

These three audio pieces, read by Benno Fürmann and Eva Mattes, describe the vivid imagery of three nature sites along the exhibition path. They outline the visible and the invisible: Not only do they give an impression of what we see, they also characterize the sites by the animals we might hear, the microbiological diversity, or the changes during the course of the seasons.
