The Berlin Adult Education Centres offer a level programme for language learning. The competence levels follow the “Common European Framework of Reference”.

Before registering for a German course, counselling is therefore almost always mandatory.

Counselling, Placement Test and Registration

Waiting numbers per appointment are limited.

  • Monday
    Waiting number issue: 12:45 p.m.
    Counselling: 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Thursday
    Waiting number issue: 4:30 pm
    Counselling: 4:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Alte Mälzerei Lichtenrade

  • Additional date: Counselling/registration ONLY for German courses for mothers/parents:
    Tuesday, 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Please bring your original documents (entitlement certificate/„Berechtigungsschein“, residence permit, benefit notification/„Leistungsbescheid“, etc.) to the counselling session.
