Work stipends for Non-German literature
Target group / Purpose of funding
The work stipends are intended for the artistic development of professional authors, who write in a language other than German. Stipends are provided for work processes of a limited duration, for the continuation or completion of specific work. Stipends are awarded on the basis of the quality of work, potential for development and continuity.
The purpose of the scholarship is also to enrich Berlin’s literary scene by promoting and supporting innovative texts and their authors.
