Corona: For your protection, we may have to adjust your course. In this case you will receive an e-mail and may get a refund. However, we will do our utmost to ensure that we can offer all courses with the currently valid hygiene and distance rules. You can find the hygiene concept here in German.

Yes, if you opt out we retain the following cancellation fee:
  • more than 14 days prior to the start of the course: 6 Euro
  • between 14 days and one day prior to the start of the course: 12 Euro
  • From the day the course starts you have no entitlement to reimbursement of the fee.

  • You can find detailed information about the course dates in the program booklet or through the online registration

6. Where do the courses take place?

  • The exact course location can be found in the course announcement of the individual courses in the program booklet or in the online registration.

Please always check your registration confirmation. The latest course location is always listed there, in case there have been changes since the publication of the program booklet.

7. And if anything changes?

  • Please provide your mobile phone number and e-mail address when you register. We communicate course changes to you by text message or e-mail.

8. Are there breaks during a course?

  • Please note that during the designated course time we take into account both lesson and break times. Courses with more than 3 teaching units include a break of 15 minutes and courses of more than 5 teaching units include a break of 30 minutes. Any changes can be found in the individual course announcement.

  • For information on which groups of persons are eligible for a reduced fee, please refer to the General Terms and Conditions (Fees and Costs)

11. What can I do if a course is fully booked?

  • You can put yourself on a waiting list via your online account. We will inform you as soon as a place becomes available.

12. Does the adult education centre issue certificates of attendance?

  • Yes. If you have regularly participated in a course program (at least 70% of class hours), you will automatically receive a certificate of attendance. As a rule, you will receive your certificate of attendance at the latest 14 days after the end of the course.

13. Do you also offer "Bildungsurlaub" courses?

14. When is the programme for the next semester released?

  • It is expected that the new courses for the first semester of 2021 will be available for booking online from the end of November 2020 via our homepage.

The printed syllabus is expected to be available at the beginning of December 2020.
