
The Documentation Center at Bernauer Strasse 111 is part of the Berlin Wall Memorial ensemble. It offers detailed historical and background information on the history and politics behind the building of the Berlin Wall. It has a permanent exhibition in German and English, an observation tower overlooking a section of the original border, a digital archive with original documents, audio stations with historical radio broadcasts from East and West, and regular events. One of the Berlin Wall Memorial's priorities is educational work on history and politics. To this end, it offers a wide variety of tours, seminars, and thematic events.
