Sony World Photography Awards 2025

Nature photography, portraits and abstracts - in 2025, the "Sony World Photography Award" will once again honor photos by the best contemporary photographers. This year's edition received over 300,000 submissions from photographers from 200 countries.
The "Sony World Photography Award" was launched in 2007 and has been awarded annually ever since. Numerous photographers take part in the competition every year. In 2018, Candida Höfer was the first German photographer to receive the "Outstanding Contribution to Photography" award.
