In the first construction phase (eastern part of Karl-Marx-Allee, abbreviated to: KMA I) – between Frankfurter Tor and Strausberger Platz – we present 10 “anchor buildings” and the Rosengarten green space. They were built between 1950 and 1958.
In the second construction phase (western part of Karl-Marx-Allee, abbreviated to: KMA II) – between Strausberger Platz and Alexanderplatz – we present 13 “anchor buildings”. They were built between 1959 and 1964.
