The vibrant area around the famous Kurfürstendamm and Breitscheidplatz the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church is called City West. What used to be the center of the former West Berlin has regained its former glory in recent years. Apart from City West, the district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf has many more interesting sights to offer. Lovers or architecture should make a trip to Charlottenburg Palace, the largest palace in Berlin, and take a stroll in the large palace garden. From the radio tower in the far west of the district, you get a great view of downtown Berlin and the surrounding countryside. For visitors interested in history, the Olympic Stadium and the dilapidated listening station on Teufelsberg are must-see attractions.
