A Rich Musical Tradition Since 1923
Founded by Fritz Jöde, Musikschule City West (formerly The Music School of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf) is Germany’s oldest public music school. Since 2011, we’ve proudly carried the name Musikschule City West.

We host regular concerts and events open to the public, enriching Berlin’s cultural life and offering our students valuable performance opportunities. Our experienced instructors – professional musicians with formal training and years of stage experience – also perform high-quality concerts.
