The CTM Festival for Adventurous Music and Art celebrates experimental, contemporary and electronic music in special places of Berlin's nightlife.

Every year, the CTM aims to put the spotlight on artists from regions beyond the usual hotspots of electronic and experimental music. The 27th edition of the CTM Festival has the motto "dissonate < > resonate" and explores the musical, social and political relationship between dissonance and resonance, between sound and contradiction, friction and harmony. The program ranges from doom and drone to experimental rap, hyperpop and noise to bass-heavy, afrofuturistic sounds. This year's venues include Berghain, Radialsystem, Oxi, Silent Green and the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz.

CTM and Transmediale

The festival is being held in cooperation with Transmediale, which takes place at various locations in Berlin parallel to CTM. Together, the two events are considered one of the world's largest platforms for reflection on digital culture.
