Viewing Platforms & Viewpoints
Viewpoints, observation terraces, public roof terraces and observation towers: Discover the best views of Berlin. more
In Berlin-Marzahn, the brave can climb the Skywalk. From the vantage point on the roof of a high-rise building, visitors can discover Berlin from above.
Most people don't necessarily think of sights in the Marzahn district, with the exception of the Gardens of the World. Since 2015, the Berlin district has had a real highlight: the Skywalk of the housing cooperative degewo on Marzahner Promenade.
Visitors to the Skywalk are guided up a free-floating staircase. Always under supervision, because for safety reasons it is not possible to walk on the platform alone. In good weather, the viewing platform on the 21st floor of the skyscraper offers an enormous view: not only can the whole of Marzahn be discovered from here, the view extends as far as Berlin city center to the TV Tower and Brandenburg Gate. Visitors can even sometimes see the Teufelsberg. Photographs explain what can be discovered in which direction. Provided you dare to walk across the grid floor. For people who are afraid of heights, the Skywalk is definitely a real test of courage.
