Update: From December 8th, 2021 - Admission only with VRT proof

From December 8th, 2021, the VRT (3G in German) regulation will also be applied at all office buildings in Berlin.

You must therefore be able to provide evidence of this before admission. Please refer to the information on our homepage to find out which evidence is required.

The number of new corona infections in Berlin and all of Germany is currently rising dramatically, the pandemic situation is getting worse.
In order to minimize the risk of infection during visits to the Berlin Immigration Office (LEA), large crowds of people due to queues like in the last few days must be avoided.

For people who are in an ongoing asylum procedure or who are obliged to leave the country, the following procedure (which was already practiced until November 4th) will apply again from November 22nd 2021:
  • Services are available only with appointment.
  • Waiting numbers are no longer issued for departments A 2, A 3 or A 4.

The certificate will expire in the next 6 weeks or has it already expired?
    • Then please complete this online form on our website.
