Slight decrease in Coronavirus incidence in Berlin

Corona-Test

According to official figures, the Coronavirus is spreading somewhat more slowly in Berlin than recently.

In the past seven days, 811.1 people per 100,000 inhabitants were infected, as the Robert Koch Institute announced on Wednesday (06 April 2022). The previous day the incidence was at 814.4. On Wednesday of last week it was significantly higher at 1005.4. Berlin has the lowest incidence of all federal states.

More new infections in one day

However, the health offices reported more new infections in one day. The institute gave the number 7273 on Wednesday - 268 more than on Wednesday of last week. Experts point out that many cases are probably not recorded in the official data. For example, many infections are no longer confirmed by a PCR test. Only these count in the statistics.
