The state of Berlin now offers a central service hotline for refugees from Ukraine.
By calling the number +49 (0)30 90 127 127, refugees can quickly and easily receive initial general information on accommodation, registration, visa and residence rights. This was announced by the Senate Department for the Interior on Tuesday (March 15, 2022). In addition, Berliners can call the number to receive information about specific ways to support the war refugees.
The telephone hotline was put in place to complement the state's Information Portal for Refugees from Ukraine. The number is available every day from 7 AM to 6 PM. Specialists from the Berlin Citizens' Helpline, which is operated by the IT Service Center Berlin, provide information in Ukrainian, English, Russian and German. They also put callers in touch with other contact points offering assistance and support services.
