Bicycle Rally of the ADFC

Fahrradsternfahrt in Berlin

As part of the Sternfahrt bike rally, thousands of cyclists gather and advocate for better cycling conditions in Berlin.

In recent years, up to 250,000 people have participated, and with a route length of nearly 1,000 kilometers, the Berlin Bike Rally is the world's largest bicycle demonstration.

Routes of the Sternfahrt

The ADFC bike rally follows 20 routes, including two sections of highway, leading to the "Großer Stern" in the Tiergarten. The rally traditionally ends at the Environment Festival at the Brandenburg Gate. Once again this year, a route for children and families will be offered.

Considerable Traffic Restrictions Due to the Rally

Road closures and traffic delays and consequently longer travel times are expected citywide as early as in the morning. Every year, part of the route runs along the Berlin Ring Road, the A100, and the Avus (A115). The highways will be closed to motorized traffic while cyclists are passing through. On the way to the closing rally, there will therefore be massive traffic restrictions, particularly in the Charlottenburg, Wilmersdorf and Tiergarten areas.
