The eye-catcher of this exhibition is the original of a 283.5 kg meteorite from the Arizona meteorite crater. By means of models, display boards and texts, current knowledge about the sun, planets and minor planets, meteorites and comets is conveyed. A valuable detail is the telescope with which the amateur astronomer Karl Ludwig Hencke discovered the minor planet "Astraea" in 1845.
