Handwerk und Dorfleben im Freilichtmuseum: Zu Pfingsten verwandelt sich das Museumsdorf Düppel in einen Ort gelebter Geschichte.
In authentischen Gewändern holen die Mitglieder des Fördervereins Museumsdorf Düppel e.V. sowie reisende Handwerker:innen das Mittelalter drei Tage lang ins Heute. Das Palisadentor führt damit nicht nur in eine nach archäologischen Befunden rekonstruierte Siedlung, sondern auch in eine längst vergangene Zeit.
Erleben Sie hautnah, wie der dörfliche Alltag in unserer Region um das Jahr 1200 ausgesehen haben könnte. An den Feuern der Hütten wird gekocht und gefärbt, in den Öfen Brot gebacken. Von Hand wird Wasser aus dem Brunnen geschöpft und die Wolle der Schafe versponnen. Kinder toben über den Dorfplatz, wo Jung und Alt nach mittelalterlicher Art beisammen sind.
