Gothic house - Life in the city

a tour through six centuries

In May 2019, a newly revised exhibition on the history of urban life and living in Spandau opened on the upper floor of the Gothic House.

The exhibition for the whole family is part of the Stadtgeschichtliches Museum Spandau, which is located in the Zeughaus on the Citadel.

The historical exhibition in the Gothic House first illuminates the history of this unique house. Archaeological finds such as glazed stove tiles and coins, but also the original building structure hold many a secret in store. The subsequent tour tells of everyday life in the town and above all invites visitors to join in: to sing, guess and play theatre.
