A.PART 2024

The A.PART Festival 2024 brings together diverse perspectives on choreography and dance by alumni and students of Berlin's dance education programs. This year's participants include alumni and students of the Tanzakademie balance 1, DANCEWORKS, the Seneca Intensive Program, the Berlin Dance Institute, the Inter-University Center for Dance Berlin and the Dance Intensive Program of Tanzfabrik Berlin.
On May 17, 18 and 19, as well as May 24, 25 and 26, Andrea D'Arsiè, Frances-Marlene Prasse, Imogen Pickles & Camila Barbera, Johann Eggebrecht & Noah Rees, Marta Ferraris, Naledi Majola, Olivia Das and Sara Müller Troconis will welcome you to celebrate the diversity of the Berlin dance scene together.
They explore the transformative potential of grief, take the pressure off, find their balance in the swing, fight to allow intimacy, evoke a person with a strong urge to speak, destabilize gendered language, wonder how something as weightless as a thought can take up so much space or reflect on the distorted self-perception of one's own body.
In times of uncertainty, amid crises, as witnesses of armed conflicts and in the shared longing for peace, we ask ourselves: How can we strengthen each other?
