Always on the lookout for something new, the circus lover and collector - who has, among other things, the largest circus and variety collection in Europe - has hired only the best artists and clowns for this special ring production.

Sustainability at Circus RoncalliAlready more than 30 years ago, Bernhard Paul decided against wild animals. Since 2018, the Roncalli world has been completely animal-free. Animal-free and species-appropriate in every way, with an emphasis on species as in art, because animals only appear as spectacularly large figures or as giant figures of light.

"We want to do our part to ensure that the world remains worth living in all its facets" is how the Roncalli founder describes his circus' tireless efforts to set an example.

Canned drinks are not allowed in the Circus! Deposit bottles are standard and even supposed plastic cups are biodegradable and made from renewable raw materials.

Despite magical outdoor lighting, electricity is saved. The Roncalli Paulmann LED lamp, which Bernhard Paul spent years looking for, requires only 80 per cent of the energy previously used and shines just as warmly and invitingly as we know it from childhood circus lighting.

For years now, we have been making the Roncalli world a little more beautiful and a little better - and perhaps also the world outside.
