Berlin-wide Coronavirus incidence at around 202

Corona-Test

In Berlin, the incidence of Covid-19 is at 201.9 on Thursday, according to the Robert Koch Institute.

The RKI reported 281.4 new infections per 100,000 people in seven days for Germany as a whole. The values have been at about this level for some time. However, the incidence does not provide a complete picture of the infection situation. Experts assume a high number of cases not recorded by the RKI - especially because by far not all infected persons have a PCR test. Only positive PCR tests count in the statistics.

No new deaths reported

According to the RKI data, 1604 new infections were reported for Berlin within one day. This brings the total number of cases registered since the start of the pandemic in spring 2020 to around 1,254,100. No new deaths have been registered recently. According to official statistics, there have been a total of 4799 deaths related to Corona infections in Berlin so far. This is 16 more than a week earlier.
