Weeks of closures on the Stadtbahn

S-Bahn in Berlin

For S-Bahn passengers in Berlin, exhausting weeks begin today: Extensive construction work will continue on the Stadtbahn until September 9.

Some sections therefore have to be completely closed to S-Bahn traffic at times. This affects lines S3, S5, S7, S75 and S9.

Closures between Alexanderplatz and Zoologischer Garten

From July 17 to 29, all S-Bahn services between Alexanderplatz and Tiergarten will be canceled. From July 29 to August 7, there will be no S-Bahn service between Friedrichstraße and Tiergarten. There will also be no S-Bahn service between Friedrichstraße and Tiergarten from September 4 to 9. From August 7 to September 4, there will only be a 20-minute interval between Friedrichstraße and Zoologischer Garten. There will be replacement bus services between Alexanderplatz and Zoologischer Garten from July 17 to 28, as well as between Friedrichstraße and Zoologischer Garten from July 29 to September 9.
