Under 900: Berlin incidence still well below national average

The corona incidence in Berlin has decreased again. 889.1 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants were registered in the past seven days, according to the latest data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) as of Saturday morning (April 02, 2022).

On Friday, the value was still at 916, on the days before partly well over 1000. The national average is currently at 1531.5. Berlin still has by far the lowest incidence of all federal states. Within one day, the RKI registered 5515 new Corona infections in the capital. In total, there have been 917,349 detected cases to date. Two new deaths related to Corona infections were added. Thus, 4386 deaths have been registered in Berlin since the beginning of the pandemic.
