Corona incidence in Berlin continues to decline to 853.1

Contrary to the nationwide trend, corona incidence in Berlin continued to decline. On Tuesday, the value, which indicates the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days, was 853.1, according to the health administration.
Experts assume a high number of cases that are not recorded in the RKI data. One reason is the limited capacities of, for example, public health offices; contacts are often only followed up to a limited extent. 5575 new Corona infections were last registered in Berlin within one day, bringing the total number to 774,622. Two new deaths related to the virus were added, bringing the total here to 4279 since the start of the pandemic.
