Road closures and traffic restrictions for the CSD

CSD Parade 2025

The 47th Berlin Pride, the Christopher Street Day (CSD) parade, wound its way through the city on July 26, 2025.

Drivers traveling through Tiergarten should expect traffic restrictions on Straße des 17. Juni.

The section between the Brandenburg Gate and Großer Stern is closed, according to the Verkehrsinformationszentrale (VIZ). This is due to setup work for Christopher Street Day (CSD). According to the information provided, Yitzhak-Rabin-Straße and Ebertstraße between Scheidemannstraße and Behrenstraße will also be closed until Monday.

Pride Parade on Saturday

The CSD will take place on Saturday starting at 12 noon. Road users along the parade route should expect significant traffic restrictions between 12 noon and 7 p.m. The parade begins on Leipziger Straße and proceeds via Potsdamer Platz, Nollendorfplatz, Lützowplatz and Großer Stern to the Brandenburg Gate, where the closing rally will take place. The event commemorates the 1969 "Stonewall" uprising. Patrons of the gay bar "Stonewall Inn" on Christopher Street in New York fought back against a police raid at that time.

Traveling by public transportation

Participants and interested parties are strongly encouraged to use public transportation rather than driving. In addition, some subway stations are expected to be closed due to the high volume of visitors. In previous years, this affected the Brandenburger Tor, Bundestag and Nollendorfplatz stations.
