The Coronavirus incidence in Berlin decreased slightly again and was at 1275.4 on Monday morning (Feb. 14, 2022).

No further deaths reported

Thus, the incidence value, which indicates the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days, continues to be significantly below the the national average (just under 1460). According to the Robert Koch Institute, a week ago the incidence in Berlin was just under 1720. The downward trend has continued for several days. According to the Berlin Senate's situation report, no new deaths related to Covid-19 were reported on Monday. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4167 people have died from or with the virus in Berlin

Number of Covid patients in ICUs decreases slightly

According to the Senate, the number of hospitalized patients per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days averaged 25.9. The corresponding light of the state's warning system remains on red. The same warning syste continues to show a yellow signal for the occupancy of intensive care units with Coronavirus patients, which is currently at 15.2 percent.
