Coronavirus incidence in Berlin falls below 1500

The Coronavirus incidence in Berlin remains on a downward trend. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reported an incidence of 1495.7 on Thursday morning (Feb. 10, 2022).

Nearly 630,000 infections since the pandemic began

On Wednesday, the incidence was just under 1565, while on Tuesday it was 1640. The nationwide incidence was at 1465 on Thursday, similar to Berlin. The number indicates how many new infections per 100,000 inhabitants were registered in the past seven days. In Berlin, 11,468 new cases were reported. The total number of infections thus rose to just under 630,000. Twelve additional deaths were reported, meaning that 4159 people have died from or with the virus since the beginning of the pandemic.
