The Coronavirus incidence in Berlin continues to fall, but remains overall at a high level.

Berliner Inzidenzwert nähert sich Bundesdurchschnitt

The Robert Koch Institute reported an incidence of 1564.9 on Wednesday (February 09, 2022). On Tuesday, the incidence was still at 1640.4, with the twelve districts reporting a total of 12,302 new infections. The incidence in Berlin is nevertheless above the nationwide incidence of 1450.8. The figure indicates how many new infections were reported per 100,000 residents over the past seven days. Seven additional Covid-related deaths occurred in Berlin. This brings the total number of people who have died from or with the virus to 4147 since the pandemic began.
