Coronavirus incidence in Berlin up again

After two days of downward trend, the Coronavirus incidence in Berlin has increased again and remains above the nationwide average of 1283.

Over 17,500 new infections

The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) gave an incidence of 1790 on Thursday (February 3, 2022) The previous day, it had still been at 1694. The figure indicates how many new infections per 100,000 inhabitants were reported in the past seven days. The twelve Berlin districts reported 17,567 registered new infections, bringing the total to 570,739 since the start of the pandemic. One additional death related to Covid-19 was added. This brings the number of people who have died from or with the virus since the pandemic began to 4129.
