Full closure of the Elsenbrücke on Saturday

Elsenbrücke

Due to construction work, the Elsenbrücke will be completely closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday.

This was announced by the Berlin Traffic Information Center (VIZ). The full closure will take place between 6 am and 8 pm. The construction work is taking place as part of the replacement construction of the Elsenbrücke, which is scheduled for completion in 2028. On Saturday, the bike lanes in both directions will be bordered with guide walls. Corrosion protection work will be carried out in parallel. Motorists will have to take a detour via the Oberbaumbrücke.
