Polyrama

Polyrama is a museum for life stories: Individual narratives of the most diverse life paths are given a space there.

The concept behind Polyrama focuses on making our cultural heritage polyphonic and diverse. Voices and perspectives can only become part of a culture when they are heard and reproduced. Little by little, the Museum of Life Stories wants to build an archive of contemporary narratives that reflect the life experiences of society.

Polyrama: From art project to museum

Polyrama began as an online project focused on cultural education that challenges discrimination. Since March 2023, these documented real-life stories have also been presented offline in the museum’s exhibition spaces. Objects that hold personal significance for the protagonists are displayed in individual display cases, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in other perspectives and realities.
