Spin's e-scooters complement public transport in Berlin-Adlershof in the Treptow-Köpenick district.

The Ford subsidiary Spin has been renting out e-scooters in Berlin-Adlershof in the Treptow-Köpenick district since August 2021. Around 120 e-scooters are available for hire at the location. Residents and commuters should be able to use the electric scooters to travel quickly from the S-Bahn to the Technology Park or to Alt-Adlershof. The battery's range is about 64 kilometres when fully charged. Spin cooperates with the battery provider Swobbee and operates its e-scooters sustainably.

Login and registration

In order to be able to use the Spin e-treadrollers, the corresponding free app must be downloaded. During registration, personal data is deposited. In addition, users must add 10 euros to the Spin account before riding.

How to rent and pricing

Spin's electric scooters are located in Berlin-Adlershof and can be found quickly via the provider's app. Once users have found the scooter, they have to scan the QR code in the middle of the handlebar. Unlocking the scooter costs one euro. Afterwards, 15 cents per minute are charged

Important: No e-scooters on sidewalks

Pavements and pedestrian zones are off-limits for electric scooters. Violations may result in a fine. Please do not park your scooter in the middle of sidewalks or driveways.

Area of use and return

The e-scooters may only be driven in the Spin area of use. The app shows which areas in Berlin these are. If the trip is to end, the scooter is parked at a suitable location. The ride is then ended via the "End Trip" button in the app.
