Ashkan Sahihi: The New York Years

Willem Dafoe, Cindy Sherman and Frank Stella: The McLaughlin Gallery in Mitte shows portrait photographs of the Berlin-based artist Ashkan Sahihi.
In 40 intimate photographic portraits, Berlin-based photographer Ashkan Sahihi shows luminaries of the creative milieu in their personal lives in New York City and captures special moments of contemplation, reflection and conversation outside of their public lives. At the McLaughlin Gallery on Linienstrasse, portraits of Jeff Koons, Dennis Hopper, Paul Auster, Siri Hustvedt, John Cage, Solange, Philip Glass, and Curtis Mayfield, among others, are on view.
