EU and International Affairs

flags and Berlaymont Building

Three out of four people in the European Union live in cities. Not only are they particularly affected by global developments such as climate change, population growth or pandemics, they are also part of the solution. The European and international exchange of ideas to find common solutions to global challenges is becoming ever more important for cities. The Senate Department for Urban Development, Building and Housing is part of this dialogue and is constantly expanding its European and international engagement.
