Radio play premiere and mobile exhibition (Helge Leiberg) with surprise guests to celebrate the author’s 85th birthday.

Werktage are writer Volker Braun’s workbooks 1977-2008. These “notes wrought from idling” describe the writing process as a by-catch of other texts, contexts, encounters, dreams and lectures, bearing witness to unchartered utopian territories between the lines and times.

With Hermann Beyer, Ann Cotten, Corinna Harfouch, Kerstin Hensel, Jutta Hoffmann, Karen Leeder, Erdmut Wizisla;  live music by Sir Henry and guests.

In cooperation with Suhrkamp Verlag and MDR broadcaster.
