Next Generation

With the format Next Generation , the Staatsballett Berlin provides its dancers with a space and the necessary framework to expand their artistic range and create their own choreographies for the stage. These short works are experiments in search of an individual choreographic style and a reflection of what concerns the next generation of artists. Whether engaging with familiar movement material, personal experiences, literary sources, or current discourses, there are no limits to the forms and themes. The results, as diverse as the choreographers themselves, will premiere at the Tischlerei of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Please note that there is no evening box office at performances at the Tischlerei of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Tickets are available in advance online, via email, by phone, or at the box offices of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Komische Oper Berlin, and Staatsoper Unter den Linden.
