Surrealism and Magic

The exhibition "Surrealism and Magic: Enchanted Modernity" is shown at the Museum Barberini from 22 October 2022 to 29 January 2023. It is the first comprehensive exhibition to focus on the Surrealists' interest in magic and myth. The exhibition features around 90 works by Giorgio de Chiricos, Max Ernst, Leonora Carrington and Remedios Varo, among others.
