Corona incidence down again: First corona traffic light green again

Corona-Test

The corona incidence in Berlin remains below the national average.

On Wednesday, the incidence was 276.5, a drop well below the previous week. According to the situation report of the Berlin Senate, 1812 new Corona cases were reported within one day. Since only positive PCR tests are included in the statistics, experts continue to assume a high number of unreported cases.

Occupancy of intensive care beds with Covid-19 cases decreased

With 4.9 percent of intensive care beds occupied by patients with Covid-19, the corresponding Corona traffic light in the situation report is green again. The hospitalisation rate, however, remains high at 17.1. The indicator shows how many people per 100,000 residents were admitted to hospital with Covid-19 within the last seven days.
