The Coronavirus incidence in Berlin remains at a high level. In the past seven days, 1117 new infections per 100,000 people were reported.
This is according to data published by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Thursday (March 17, 2022). The previous day, the incidence in the German capital was still at 1102. Nationwide, the seven-day incidence for new infections is currently at about 1651, according to the RKI.
Within one day, 8963 new Coronavirus infections were registered in Berlin, bringing the total number to 825,661. Three new deaths were reported. Thus, 4310 deaths related to Coronavirus infections have been reported in Berlin so far.
