Labyrinth Kindermuseum Berlin

Labyrinth Kindermuseum Berlin

The Labyrinth Kindermuseum aims to encourage children to think outside the box through the motto learning by doing.

Through interactive exhibits, workshops, projects and other events, the Labyrinth Kindermuseum has been working since 1997 to make learning fun for children. By actively involving the kids through touching, trying things out asking questions, running around and engaging all their senses, they learn to think for themselves and to question things.

Labyrinth Kindermuseum as extracurricular cultural and educational venue

The Labyrinth is designed as an extracurricular cultural and learning space. Since everyone has their own unique experience at the children's museum, what they learn is retained much more effectively. It is particularly important to realize that there is not just one path to success. Rather, it is the detours and missteps that help us grow. In this way, visitors of all ages learn that patience and a little persistence pay off.

Bridging the generations

Involving parents and families in the museum’s daily activities is another key focus of the museum's educational work. Bringing generations together and fostering communication between young and old as well as among people from different cultures is a particular priority and has already been successfully tested in several projects.
