Festival: Special Olympics National Games

Musiker am Neptunbrunnen

In June 2022, a festival for the National Summer Games of the Special Olympics will take place around the Neptune Fountain in Berlin-Mitte.

A cultural program with music, theater, art and more will celebrate the Germany capital's colorful diversity. Participation opportunities and, of course, sports activities are also part of the Special Olympics Festival. Actors, institutions and programs that deal with the topic of inclusion can present themselves as part of the festival. Special highlights include the opening ceremony on June 19, 2022 at the Alte Försterei and the closing ceremony on June 24, 2022 at the Brandenburg Gate.

On the festival grounds around the Neptune Fountain, a cultural stage with a colorful program, a workshop tent, information and action booths, various sports stations as well as food trucks and street food stands compete for visitors' attention. Further details about the 2022 festival program are not yet known.
