The communication and networking platform for the digital games industry attracts about 15,000 visitors - developers, publishers, investors, and gamers - each year. There are more than ten events in one week at different venues in Berlin, ranging from conferences and recruitment events to games festivals and championships.
Events at the International Games Week Berlin
Games enthusiasts enjoy live entertainment at the "Gamefest" (12 - 14 April) in the Säälchen and the Independent Video Games Festival "A Maze" (10 - 13 April) at SEZ Berlin. Other events are open to professional visitors only, such as the games business and development conference "Quo Vadis".
There is also a special event for female talents, "Womenize!" (10 April), that is designed specifically for women who seek to build a career in the fields digital economy, the games industry or IT. Since 2018, the German Esports Summit is part of the Games Week. On April 11th, agents from politics, science and business will meet with teams and players to discuss the developpement of the esports movement.

The International Games Week is open to the public and takes place at several locations in Berlin, among them Säälchen, Urban Spree, Säälchen, Station Berlin, C-Base, and Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz
