de Days of Dance Berlin
9 - 19 January 2019
Days of Dance (Tanztage) is a contemporary dance festival focusing on the discovery and support of up-and-coming choreographers and dancers based in Berlin.

Most of the participating choreographers and dancers follow an interdisciplinary approach for the Days of Dance. Performances include elements of the visual arts, sounds, music and language, others are inspired by current political events. Pop-cultural references and genres such as striptease and breakdance, club culture, talk shows and pop music are part of the festival too.
Days of Dance Performances at Sophiensaele
All dance performances take place at Sophiensaele in Berlin-Mitte, one of the most significant production and performance spaces for off theatre in Germany. The full festival programme is available on the official Sophiensaele Website.
