Anonymous 11780
Documentary theatre by Hila Sedighi
Anonymous 11780 is a documentary theatre production inspired by true testimonies from the 2025 (1404) protests in Iran.
Through documentary storytelling, live performance, poetry, and visual media, the production explores memory, loss, resilience, and the human cost of political violence. Rather than presenting historical or political analysis, the performance focuses on the lived experiences of ordinary people whose voices are often unheard.
Using a minimalist stage language, Anonymous 11780 creates an intimate theatrical experience that invites audiences to reflect on identity, dignity, and the enduring power of hope in the face of oppression.
The production features a cast of five performers and is presented in Persian with live English audio translation via headsets, making it accessible to international audiences.
