Consonantrix ∞ bodies coming-into-accord
Workshop mit Olga Kozmanidze, in Zusammenarbeit mit Pascal Staudt

Consonantrix is an embodied workshop and a practice of coming-into-accord: bodies, while remaining distinct, become attuned to one another through shared dreams, sound, listening, touch, weight, and movement.

The workshop unfolds in constellations of two to four people formed through dream-resonance—participants are invited to present bodily gestures that produce sounds from their dreams and choose their companions based on shared experiences that resonate with them. Using a sequence of scores designed by Olga Kozmanidze, they are guided to explore shifting relations of distance, vibration, and touch, sensing how attention travels, how reciprocity is negotiated, and how collective coming-into-accord takes form. The practice deepens through the use of Sentire, an interactive sound system that renders bodily relations audible via a wearable device, enhancing body perception and social interaction. Sentire originally emerged from the 2016–2024 interdisciplinary project, performance series and collective of the same name initiated by Kozmanidze, Pascal Staudt, and Marcello Lussana. By generating a shared sonic environment, Sentire amplifies the reverberations of touch, allowing resonance to linger, even as physical contact gradually dissolves.

The three-hour workshop moves through  four scores in sequence, each exploring how the corporeal comes-into-accord through distance, proximity and touch, gravity and weight, as well as through the Sentire sound system. A break of 10–15 minutes takes place every two scores. Working with corporeal senses can occasionally touch on deeper feelings—prospective participants are advised to take this into consideration when joining.
