PJ Harvey

PJ Harvey will be performing open air at the Zitadelle Spandau in August. You can already look forward to seeing how she will use the medieval backdrop in the large castle courtyard for her show.

PJ Harvey's two Berlin appearances in October were something special, even in the British artist's kaleidoscopic cosmos. She has been making music for many years and has approached art from many different angles. This time she chose a more theatrical approach with a show staged by theater director Ian Rickson, designed by Rae Smith and performed by her bandmates John Parish, James Johnston, Jean-Marc Butty and Giovanni Ferrario.

The concert consisted of two halves - the first from their latest album "I Inside The Old Year Dying" - which has just been nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the Grammys. The second half was an exploration of her extensive catalog with songs like "To Bring You My Love", "The Desperate Kingdom Of Love" and "Down By The Water".
