Das Gespensterschloss - Philharmonie Berlin

This is already the third concert performance of an opera by Stanislaw Moniuszko in the world-famous Philharmonie in Berlin. The previous performances of "Halka" (2019) and "Paria" (2023) not only delighted audiences, but also received acclaim from German music critics.

The concert performance of "Das Gespensterschloss" in Berlin is a symbolic return: Moniuszko spent three years at the Singakademie zu Berlin (1837-1840), where he developed his compositional mastery.

The concert will provide an excellent opportunity to focus on the timeless beauty of this music in artistic interpretation at the highest European level.

You can expect one of the most important events promoting Polish culture abroad in 2024.

The main roles will be performed by soprano Ruslana Koval (Hanna), mezzo-soprano Gosha Kowalinska (Jadwiga), tenor Piotr Kalina (Stefan), bass Rafal Korpik (Zbigniew) and baritone Stanislav Kuflyuk (Miecznik).

The Tagesspiegel's head of culture, Frederik Hanssen, will present this musical event.
